1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how The Wellness Health Point ("we", "us") collects, uses, stores and protects personal information when you use https://www.thewellnesshealthpoint.com/ ("Website"). It is intended to meet our obligations under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable laws of India.

2. Information You Give Us

When you submit an appointment or callback request, we ask for:

  • Your name, phone number and email address.
  • The doctor or department you are interested in.
  • Any message you choose to add about how we can help.

3. Information Collected Automatically

If enabled, we use Google Analytics and Google Ads to understand how visitors use the Website and whether our advertising works. These services use cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as the pages you visit, the device and browser you use, your approximate location and how you arrived at the Website.

We also record that a form was submitted, or that a phone or WhatsApp link was tapped. We do not send your name, contact details, chosen doctor or department, or message to Google.

4. How We Use Your Information

  • To contact you about your request and arrange or confirm an appointment.
  • To respond to your questions.
  • To understand how the Website is used and improve it.
  • To measure the effectiveness of our advertising.
  • To comply with legal obligations and protect the security of the Website.

5. How Your Information Is Stored

Your name, phone number and email address are stored in a secure database with restricted access. The full request, including your chosen doctor or department and your message, is sent by email to the clinic so our staff can respond; it is not kept in the Website's database.

6. Medical Information

Please do not include detailed medical history, test results or other sensitive health information in the Website forms. A short description of how we can help is enough — your doctor will discuss your health with you directly.

7. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Website and respond to you, and only as far as they need it:

  • Website hosting and database providers.
  • Our email service provider, which delivers requests to the clinic.
  • Google, for analytics and advertising measurement as described above.

9. Cookies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. The Website itself does not need cookies to work; they are set only by the Google services described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on. Blocking cookies does not stop you from using the Website or submitting a request.

10. How Long We Keep Information

We keep personal information only for as long as needed to respond to your request, provide care and meet our legal, accounting and record-keeping obligations. After that it is deleted or anonymised.

11. Security

The Website uses HTTPS encryption, and access to stored information is limited to authorised personnel. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorised access, loss or misuse.

12. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you and how it is used.
  • Correct or update inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Delete your information where it is no longer needed.
  • Withdraw your consent to further use of your information.
  • Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity.

13. Grievances

If you have a concern about how your information is handled, please contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

14. Children

Requests for patients under 18 should be submitted by a parent or lawful guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children, or use it for tracking or targeted advertising.

15. Third-Party Websites

The Website links to third-party services such as WhatsApp, Google Maps and social media. Their handling of your information is governed by their own privacy policies, not this one.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated policy will be published on this page with a revised Last Updated date.
